As a parent of two girls, I have tried to make them aware of how beautiful their hair is. I so often reflect on how hard it is for our girls to love their hair when what they are faced with so many wrongs about it.
Why is your hair puffy?
Why does it feel greasy?
Why don't you have it out like mine?
Why is your hair like that?
How does your ends stay in?
How do you comb it?
Do you wash it?
The curiosity around our hair can leave some girls questioning why there hair is wrong. But my WHY is to change these perceptions, to change the mindset of how our girls see their hair and have the confidence to rock their crowns.
It’s my aim to raise girls to help them to love their hair and to love themselves~ it starts within.
